We are looking for a full time photo retoucher to join a small but quickly growing photography company.
Starting salary range: $1600-$2000/month
The position will be on a work from home basis, with relatively flexible hours. Position may require occasional travel. This is not a freelance position. Freelancers expecting to take it on as a retainer job should not apply.
Primary responsibilities will include processing all still images from RAW format according to client requirements and company standards and style. Other requirements will include basic photo layout and some design work, as well as some administrative functions and occasional assisting on location with photo shoots.
The company currently works primarily with architectural, wedding, event, commercial and portrait photography. Interest in any of these areas would be an asset.
Requirements:
* Excellent digital photo retouching skills. Experience at a professional level highly preferred
* Self motivated and detail oriented
* Ability to work through high volumes of files and manage tight deadlines
* Ability to work independently and take creative imitative on projects and proactively support the company
* Interest and experience in Photography
* Strong English communication skills
Assets:
* Basic competency in Adobe creative suite, especially Illustrator and In Design
* Strong general IT skills
* Strong creative portfolio
* Interest to be involved in all aspects of the business
* Experience and comfort working directly with clients
