Welcome to the club, oink oink!
Me newbie too, but using Canon. Some people say, shoot more, cos digital's almost free, only need to charge batteries and download your pictures.
Congrats on your new baby. Don't abuse it (by keeping it at home always!), else I report to Sony Police!
