As a photographer who is interested in keeping abreast with every maker's equipment, if I were to currently use some other brand's equipment for now, I'm automatically disqualified from commenting in the Nikon forums?

Well, comment with facts or state that it is your opinion. You seem rather reasonable but very angry at Nikon and becomes defensive when the thread disagree with you.

I have no problem with mpenza, nightwolf and users of other brands.

Angry at Nikon? No. Definitely not, disappointed though. The D2Hs thoroughly disappointed me, but never did I air out my grievances with the D2Hs. I also never went out and slammed the D2Hs in public. Yes, a long letter was written to Nikon on the shortfalls of the D2Hs, but that's about it. I had nothing nice to say about it, and I say nothing about it. I would honestly say that I have been much nicer to Nikon than to the other brands. If anything, I always slam publicly the brand I am currently using.

However, being journalist trained, I do not take well to selective quotations, half truths, misinformation, etc, that falsely puts anything in a better light or worse light. This is precisely the reason why I have put up quite a few responses in this thread. Maybe I've been harsh, which I would readily apologize for, as I have come to slowly learn that Singapore tolerates a different level of assertiveness as aggression which is very different from where I'm from.

I won't know, but my very first impression is that you are exasperated with Nikon and keep mentioning about D70 better than D2H (which I personally know it's not). If this is how you're being nice to Nikon, I'd rather you don't. I speak for myself not for Nikonians (better state this before people say I hardcore Nikon or paid by Nikon...).
