Any suggestions of good places to film sunsets cinematography things like that. i recently got a good dslr with great filming abilitys so higher quality videos in order.

Are you using GoPro or something? Looks pretty distorted.

1. The very first thing is that you have to focus on your subject, your footage is quite blur.
2. Grade your footage, it will make it more outstanding.
3. Try to stabilize your shots. Most of them are shaky.
4. Don't just depend on zooming and panning techniques. Try getting up close to the board for closeup shots.

seems like your first longboard video is better than this one. (Honest opinions)
