While it is true that not everyone, male or female, will have an interest in photography, I believe that all of us have some hidden talents of all sorts that we have failed to explore because of fear, shyness, lack of opportunity, lack of time, etc. Sometimes, we just need some encouragement from others or forced my circumstances to realise these talents. So, don't give up on your spouses, girlfriends or even your mothers-in law, etc. :-D

Bring her to Canon at Vivo City. Let her try the 1D, then 5D MkII, then with your crest fallen grudgingly accept the m43 camera LOL. I never consult wifey lah. Just buy what I like. Let her buy what she likes. Haiz like that also got problem. DO you think she'll consult you when buying a piece of jewellery, watch, dress, make up etc? If she does then I think that's a bad habit. Your individuality needs to be intact and grow in a relationship. Your couple status needs to be maintained and grow as well. Then when you have kids both the individual and couple wont be usurped by the family. Take a stand, be sensitive, explain but in the end get what you like if it is within your means and you havnt gone apeshit started buying and selling gear like a SGX trader on Clubsnap!

Aiyoh it is for her la, later I buy for her then she dun wana use then wasted. Oh well may be I purposely "buy for her" knowing she dont wana use so I can take it. Hmmmm.... you give me new strategy liao :devil: (but I think she wont fall for this to up my lense collection leh...) :sweatsm:
