Since you used to go to Digipro, you can try Foto Station(Wong's) at Marine Terrace as well.

I was forced recently to get some prints done urgently as well so I tried this shop at Parkway. It's a Kodak shop(Standard Photo) in the basement, opposite this KM shop(which produces horrible print quality and has horrific service). They print low volume at $5/pc S8R on Kodak Endura(They told me Kodak Royal initially but I was surprised when i got it back on Endura) and are quite friendly. Not by any means the cheapest but perhaps you can negotiate for a lower price for a greater volume.

You can also try Triple D at Burlington square. Super express service. $3 per S8R for CS members on Fuji Crystal Archive Supreme(or something like that).

Thanks for the info. I have stopped using the Konika outlet at Parkway decades ago due to the reasons you mentioned here.

Has anyone tried the Fuji outlet at Brass Basah Complex?

If you want to take the high-end route, I have some recommendations for you.
Note that being good at photoshop and having a printer's eye are two different things - that is why the people who do this for a living charge accordingly.
Yes agree with you, you pay for expertise. Anyway what is youor recommendations?

Thanks to those who have PM me earlier for their services. I will get in touch with you if the budget or requirements suit both parties. Cheers!

West Coast Imaging or Calypso Imaging, both in California. They work with photographers worldwide.

Having used both, I would say West Coast Imaging has somewhat more personalised service. You can deal 1-on-1 with the printmaker who will be working on your image.

Is there such service provider in Singapore? Seems that they only provide printing service rather than just DI works?

No one here can offer the same expertise or provides their range of printing options.

They provide two levels of printing:
Custom printing (when you work with them on your image), and preflighted direct printing (you send them your profiled file to print "as is").

If you intend to print for exhibition and have to rely on someone else to help you finesse your images IMHO it is preferable to work with someone who will oversee it through to the final output.

Remember, people are going to be looking at your exhibition prints, not your computer screen. It is one thing to have a retoucher/ digital artist tweak your image, but you still need to convert/ translate that into a print and that involves a lot decisions as to how to deal with fine nuances and the response of the printer/ paper of your choice.
