Help on making copies of VCD

Hi

My dad's excerise video routine was filmed and placed on a VCD.

The VCD played Ok on my DVD player.

I would like to duplicate it using my CD burner. Using Nero 5.5

But on a few disc, I have gotten unrecoverable read error at various junction.

I am still puzzeled if there is something about making copies of VCD that I should be aware of ...

help appreciated.

Some DVD players cannot read CDR. Depends on the type of laser used by the DVD player. You may be able to playback your copy of the VCD on the computer but not on the DVD player.

At what speed were you burning the disk?
I had occurences in the past where I burnt at high speeds and disc didn't work on some players, but burning at 2x or 4x no problems.

The error you mentioned is reported by your software or your dvd player?
