I hate manual focus too, was thinking of just setting it to infinity focus or pre focus around 1.5m away and just play ard with it in broad daylight. :-)

I found amazon selling for 60usd, guess with shipping should b around same a what u paid for. :-) B&H selling for 50used, but no stocks, only preorder.

Olympus said they will release the Body Cap Lens BCL-1580 at the end of November or in December in Singapore.

Check with Tk Photo Funan, I got mine from there. Retailing for $88.00

i rather get $200 second hand Panasonic 14mm f2.5.
Got autofocus, faster shutter speed, slightly wider angle, good image quality, not too expensive, but still quite flat as a pancake.

Definitely! Unfortunately I got the 14/2.5 already. ;-)

SLR $73 but I support the idea of getting the 14mm/F2.5 instead of this unless it's for the collection like the Panny 3D 12.5mm/F12.

U mean this 14 f8 got no AF?

i tried this lens in the shop. This is my view.

At $88, I will rather top up another $120 for a second hand 14mm F2.5
In this way, i will get a similar focal length lens with fast focusing, ability to AF, much sharper image, F2.5 instead of F8.
Also, 14mm F2.5 is very compact too, i will say it is a very decent lens.

This lens has no AF but you hardly need it, there's infinity or 0.3m, but infinity is fine with 99% of the shots...it's not sharp, it's perform worse than any m43 lens, but heck. it's street shooting redefine, i had some staring at my camera wondering what I was doing till they hear the click! $88 is a tad expensive yes, hence, I'm keeping mine :)
