help needed. im considering switching to leica M8

hi guys, first i have to say i know very little about rangefinder except for reading up on the internet and also tested the m9 once in a local leica boutique. i really prefer to just carry a small camera den my current DSLR setup. im ready to ditch my DSLR setup for a leica m8. im looking at leica m8 because i still wanna do IR photography with it and leica m8 seems to be a good choice for that. i have a overall budget of about 6k+. can anyone recommend any good lens to go along with the m8 that is within my budget. i believe a used m8 range at about 3.3k now? and also what should i look out for when getting a 2nd hand m8? eg. what should i check for? what fault is common to find in a used m8?i've read up quite abit and am sincerely looking for help from you guys. thankyou very much.

There is no turning back only upwards
Ditched my digital SLR and into the pit of poison
Nevertheless the poison comes slowly
Using M8.2 now and have no regrets
The only fear is upwards towards the '9'
Look for a good used M8 to start with
Look for vertical line issues and coffee ring stain
Once you get a good set
Buy it and start shooting
Enjoy with the good people in RF SG
