I use a S2Pro. While I knew of the "problems" with S2Pro (eg. grip, dual batteries etc) I chose the S2Pro because:
- My lab told me that S2pro images much easier to print compared to d100, which has a magenta cast which very difficult to remove
- highest effective resolution as tested by dpreview
- beautiful skin tones
- no need to use raw to get quality, just shoot jpgs. D100 need to use raw get quality
- High ISO noise is really well controlled. At ISO 800, looks like got no noise at all. At ISO 1600 still very acceptable and much better than anything out there.
- Can use older Nikon Flashes
- Has PC sync
- Can use AA batteries which last very long .. can easily last 400-500 shots on AA and around 1,000 for lithium ..
