receipt says " goods sold are not returnable or exchangable "
bought from tk foto got the guy's name card
good service there...

Bring it back to the shop & show them lah... If they can't do anything abt it, bring to Nikon Service Centre loh.

most shop does allow 1-1 exchange for up to 7 days

Hi littlejt,

That's a real shame!! I would certainly take the cam back to the shop and hit them hard enuff on their heads with it!!

They are responsible for such an outright faulty unit, and they have better clout with Nikon than us to take it up with them. I am sure that Nikon service will be very helpful too, but why should you bother...the shop can at least provide good customer service and offer to exchange the piece as it is only a day old unit. They can easily settle with Nikon later on as they must have a good trade relationship with them. They have already given u enough anxiety by selling such a piece to you. :nono:

Be firm and go for it...we must fight for our rights! All the best mate. Keep us posted if resolved in your favor...it will also mean one up for a good cam shop which we can all patronize.

Cheers.

should i call them or just head down to the shop

i bought it at tk foto.. its not even 24 hrs old as of now yet..

give tk photo a call and tell them abt ur problem of the dead pixel..check whether can do 1-for-1 exchange..
as for the lose parts sound, i believe its the rotation sensor of the camera..its use for sensing whether ur camera is in the landscape or portrait orientation..

I second that, do check with TK on the phone first. It will save you the trip down if you do need to bring it down to NSC.

oo okay.. they tell me to go down..
