if u get films from another country, and they scan it thru xray or sth, will expose the films ma? and how to avoid it?

I've been lucky, I have shipped film twice through the system and I am fairly sure it was X-rayed at least once.

First time was 5 rolls of Provia 100F and 5 Kodak BW400CN. No problem, all 10 rolls eventually developed just fine.

Second time was when I threw some Kodak Tri-X 400 and Plus-X 125 into check-in luggage. Am very sure that one was X-rayed (it all has to be!). The 125PX seems fine, have not shot the TX yet but seems ok.

Best to buy from a local source if you can, in order to avoid this problem. Somemore our prices are cheap compared to online.

Or if you are an alt photographer....embrace the magic, the fogging, and 'special effects' from the X-rays :D (that's if you kena..)

dun worry, SG scanning machine is x ray safe.

mine came in from B&H, fuji across 400 and neopan 100, no issues.
