This was my first trip to the railway and sadly the last, now that it's now closed. Was walking around the station
and was overwhelmed by the number of photographers around. So wondered off to quieter places, that's when I met him.
He's 80 years old, has been working there for over 30 years. I was amazed. We don't even stick to our jobs for 10 years...
let alone 30. Along with another collegue, they held 2 shifts..that afternoon he was holding from 3pm til late into the night.
You could see it in his eyes, he was a tired soul. Hope he's doing well now that the station's closed.
