HD video editing...

am using old odobe premier pro 6.5 to edit...HD video cilisp taken by Nikon D7000 and Nokia 8 phone,,, the clips are not reconize in the timeline...so need to upgrade,,to ??????? need to learn and appeal to anyone who can teach me..am willing to come to meet you to learn...my contact is 012-5887719 i plan to upgrade to HD camera and again its killing me as to what FORMAT some afre mpeg 4, using sd card... some are mpeg 2 using CF card and some are MOV files and some are AVCHD..all confusing me....please help....thx....God bless rajsingh 012-5887719

Yes. Need to upgrade your Premiere or convert your video to something that PP6.5 can support. Look at your computer's specs and decide whether it can run the latest versions of Premiere first. If your computer is not at least core2duo, consider down-resing your D7000 footage to DV or 576i AVI. That will definitely work in Premiere 6.5. Use the D7000 A/V out port to connect to your PC if you have a video capture card installed.

You need at least Premiere Pro CS4 to edit AVCHD from your Nikon D7000.

Maybe CS3 will work. I am not sure.
