more to come....

Oh Bro, Zeiss is Zeiss!

Seagull (107 Porta 160)

woah, now that they are side by side, can really tell! damn!

Anyway bro, check with you, for MF how do you scan?

usually after I do the processing at home, hang up the film to dry, have to put it into sleeves then under a couple of heavy books to get my MF film flat for scanning. Using a flat bed, no $$ to buy imacon flextight or coolscan 9000

Mine for the day,... mostly from the Klasse W + Natura 1600 (a wrong film to fit in on a sunny day, sigh)

Very nice shots, bro! Made me realize that i missed out on quite a few interesting characters that day!

Hello Sir

I had some bad experiences with self scan since the old days, so self scan not my cup of tea leh.
I usually do a C41 film and throw to the shop. Good one will be from Konota. Fast and cheap from Fujifilm Burlinton Square.
Some post processing like cropping and auto balance may be needed.

Scanning is not a fair comparison between the two. Printing to 8S or bigger WILL really tell.
Those that I shot with Rolleiflex and Seagull, no fight at all when viewing 5S prints.

Thanks for sharing, really love the feel on your seagull portrait shot! Giving me the URGE....

Yes Sir, Kudos for a great outing! Great shots and really fast and furious.

When is the next one? :)

I see, I still prefer self scan, much cheaper as I shoot quite heavily.

135mm format is fine but 120mm format I actually have to put the film under a heavy pile of books to flatten it before scanning as it is so curly!!!

Which scanner is a good one?

(I was billed for scanning my old 120 archives; about 300+ rolls. Total bill is S$1700....)

Its over time. Many were my kiddy's pictures. Many of them faded already, mostly yellow and red.
If I dont scan and salvage them, they will be gone very soon.

I welcome the digital advancement.

I think if you got the $$ to play around. Best thing money can get at the moment, I believe is the Hasselblad Flextight here or Nikon Coolscan 9000 here.

Then again, Singapore's humidity is so bad, later fungus form on the scanning lens..
Unless you aircon is 24/7 or buy a big dry cabinet to store the scanner when not in used?
