[HCSP] Hardcore Street Photography 9July11 Photos Thread

Didnt see your comment at the original thread when i left my house to make it on time for the event. By the way dont anyhow say i disrespect the organisers or that i not read english. I just guessed there will be the few who could not make it due to some reason so a slot might be available and i am okay with it if the organiser said cannot join because "oversubscribed" as i had made plans just in case.

If you want to go further with this, we could discuss it over PMs.

Anyway, great outing...those who couldnt make it missed out on quite a lot of opportunities. I found myself watching a lot of videos on the Hassy and Ricoh cameras after the outing to find out more about them. Planning to re-visit a couple of the places we walked on my own in future.

well... u walked in uninvited... what more can i say, there is no need to discuss this over PMs... i know i can be picky over these things... just want to get this message across about how the organisers feel as they are my good friends... taking photos is one things... organising people is another... no more debate for this from me... end of story... more pictures less talk please....

cheers

ok, I think I really got stable hands! heehee..

Some of you might remember this one, the very unwilling care taker for the temple, no tripod at F2.8 1/30 with medium format mirror slapping!

I love Zeiss Planar!!!!

I think the younger days of tennis & squash really helped

great b&w tones here. well done!

Nice ^ 66 ^ picture of the Aunty! :D

While still waiting for my 66 film to be processed, here are some candid shots :)

thanks guys!

Falling in love with MF all over again! After scanning, all I can say the details on screen there is only one phrase to describe it, "lao chap" (dripping juice) :bsmilie:

The bangladeshi shots were a pity, went under, I had to dodge quite abit, not so nice......
Not trying to be racist but eh.... Really need to shoot them slightly under to get it exposed correctly.

Excellent shot! Yes, film has very wide dynamic range which digital cannot handle as good yet.

The darker skin tone is always a challenge. Wait until you have a white guy and black guy standing side by side!
(... you mean shoot over? I always shoot over exposed by at least 1/3 to even 1 stop. Later then correct during print or PS).

By the way, how did the kitty picture come out?

one more comment about Aunty's picture. For those who were not there, it was very dim and dark.
