Kidding aside.
You really STILL think this forest fires are due to dry season? You need to do abit of studying about crop rotation slash and burn, geography, study satellite photo and some detective work to see why always the same parts are burning and if it is so consistent, instead of thinking up ways to deal with it after the haze or fire start, why not use that information to set up preventive on the ground anti fire methods instead?
They are man made. Each and every time. Money will not solve it but just be putting money in their pocket and the fires will still keep coming and they will still play the victim card.
It's simplistic to think we can make this juggernaut budge one inch even with anything but extraordinary means and cooperation with other countries. Each have their own countries political and economical agendas. You want to boycott them as a little island? You don't want to buy their APP paper product like NTUC did for example? I google and this company sells their paper product globally. This was just a nice NTUC PR stunt if anything good was to come from it.
You want to boycott their palm oil? Again, they sell it globally and no one is saying no to them. So Singapore want to boycott all their oil and other exports? It is not even a 'pimple' of an impact on their economy. Anything we do is just a gesture of trying to show we are doing something about it in our own small way. If it was so effective and we have everyone on our side, we would have solve this a decade ago or more.
Serious man who are we kidding. We are like the school boy who gets picked on by a bullying gang and the rest of the school kids are just yelling for them to stop hitting you by the sideline but short of stepping up to help you. heheheh....
