Hi,

I will like to find out if the H4D40 is enough for a big big group shot of 500 people...without a need for Oversharpening.

regards
Daniel

In Digital MF , there is never a need for oversharpening .
You never say how you are going to arrange them .
1x 500 , 2x 250 5x100 10x 50 ?
Suppose they are lined up as long as a HDB block .
Anyway , someone with a H4D40 could take a picture of a HDB block with some heads sticking out.
If one zooms in 100% and the faces can be made out , should that prove your point ?
If ok , lets see if a 40 owner will bother to try this for you this weekend . . .
Unfortunately I will be away and without my camera - Cheers.

Actually there no changes for the 2 top sellers - H4D31 kit and the H4D40 kit .
Unless one buys the H4D31 kit with the 35-90 zoom ( 15,560 euros ) now is $ 11,995 euros or about $ s$ 19,550 !
before 7%gst .

The H4D 50 body is 3000 euros less .
And the H4D60 is 6,200 euros !
But these are the trade in differences when we upgrade...
So now we get upgrade prices and get to keep our old H cameras as well !

The best deal is for the CFV 50 at 2000 euros less = $ 11,020 or s$ 18,000.
Or trade in CF 22 and pay only $ 7,400 or s$ 12,000.
All before 7%gst.

Best times now to buy Hassel .
Better be fast before the euro strengthens.

Spotted this as I was on-location covering the Concorso D'Eleganza della Vila D'Este...a premier vintage car show held annually in the Villa D'Este in the town of Cernobbio, Italy.

This fellow was also covering the event...here is he setting up...with a giant tripod...

A general view of the Concorso...3 panel stitch...major drool time for vintage car lovers...

See my blog for some pics of the magnificent cars in the event. All photographed with my H3D-39 and 50-110 lens.
