Here is my share. Thanks Denis and everyone involved in making this event successful. Wanting to test the low light capability of the H4D40, these were shot handheld wide open with the standard 80mm f2.8 lens with whatever light I can get from the set.....

Thanks Peter for the pictures! :) Nice!!

ekk...i think the focus is more on the teeth rather than anything else

Anywaz , nice teeth . . .
And nice rear . . . ( the car la ! )

I'm wondering when is the next HUG meet up?

Hi guys, just popping by and found this discussion on shooting cars.

Well, I don't own mediumformat cameras, just an affordable setup for a young student like me.

I have passion for cars since young and I can wait to get my license.

Here's some pictures to share with my recent photoshoot with a group of 20 Civic Type R

hi Odyssey-Boy,
your model looks like she just lost a million bucks from 4D betting ;)

Be Kind Ikkang .
When I first started , I only had a growling dog on a paddle about jeep to practice on.
And she ( my neighbour ) had no front teeth !

It's okay guys.. I purposely wanted the sad or would I say fierce look of the model.

I do feel if the model smiles or do any cheerful effects, the car would look "unfierce" since the car I'm shooting is a group of 20 honda civic type r(s).

Shriro is trying to bring in Marcus Bell , prominent wedding photographer from Australia . Watch out for this event in November !

Question: Do Shriro wants to sell more cameras to wedding photographers? Or for existing Hasselblad commercial photographers to shoot weddings too? Just a question... :)

The 2008 Hasselblad Master of the year was Kevin Then , a wedding photographer from JB.
Do not belittle the skills of a wedding photographer.

yeah lor... so the Question: Do Shriro wants to sell more cameras to wedding photographers? Or for existing Hasselblad commercial photographers to shoot weddings too? Just a question... :)

Even though I prefer to shoot only interiors , I would not mind seeing what another expert in his field has to show.
Be it a wedding , underwater or pastry photographer .

Anyway , HUG gatherings are never with any heavy sales pitches.
You buy what you can afford.

I think we have had speakers from portrait ( William Ng ) , fashion ( Skye Tan , Zhang Jinna) , Architecture ( Edward Hendricks ) , Food ( Lim Eng Teck ) and Commercial ( Edward Loh , Ken Seet , Edwin and Teck , Eujin Goh , Luke Batholomew ) .

Sorry if I missed out any speakers who had willing shared their knowledge.

It would be nice to see how a wedding photographer does his stuff .
