actually on my laptop, Phocus ran quite fast, but no viewer. Trying to install now on desktop.

Update: installed on my desktop...runs very well...no further problems. Looks like it needs POWER!

The reso, and focus nailing of the H3dii-31 is amazing...I am getting more than 70% keepers...am getting severely tempted...

I was also blown away by the images that popped out during the session ( Thanks to Michael , Mega , Eujin and Skye tan for guiding me).
The Phocus software was great ! The colours were good and accurate .
I think thats why it needs a good graphics card on board for it to work properly - eh Pchong ?

The gathering was fun , educational and I wanted the take home the H3DII 31 !
Congrats to Daniel for winning the ' Take a Hassy home for the weekend ' lucky draw.
We were all green with envy .

Hi all Hasselblad experts, I am a student who just bought a 500cm today. Hope to learn from all of you and would like to join the next meet up. :)

Some watch pics from the shoot on Tue evening. I shot these before the model appeared:

export from Phocus, resized in CS3. The watch is a Lange Cabaret, LOG Limited Edition

100% crop of detail

I think the tonal gradations are absolutely captivating.

I went back again today, and Denis entertained me with a H3D-22, and shot more watch pictures. These pics were taken with the HC2.8/80 with HTC1.5.

Same conditions...Phocus export, CS3 resized, watermark, save. This is a Lange Datograph.

100% crop

I think I kena poison already...need to sell my Canon system....

The gradation and tonality of the sensor and lenses are amazing!

I would love to try the H3D with the tilt/shift adapter for better control of the DOF without having to resort to extremely small apertures (and having to deal with diffraction). ;)

Dream Merchant, the HTS was already at max...10 deg, and still not really enough to render the surface in focus. I think for table top, larger tilt is needed. That's why I need to try out the view camera...;-)

Hmm ... sometimes, the physics impose certain requirements that require much greater movement and specifically designed lenses with larger image circles, but on the whole, the HTS is still quite ingenious.

The scanner is very good...here is a pic scanned from Fuji Negative, shot on Mamiya 7II with 43mm.
