Hasselblad User Group

Finally the hassy user group have formed and we welcome new members. We will meet in shriro house at 11 Chang Charn Road , #06-01 every first tuesday in each month. Shriro is kind enough to sponsor their place and they even provide refreshment. There even a studio for us to use They had gracefully stated that anyone can join the HUG (Hasselblad User Group) as long as they are interested in hasselblad.

So I have started this thread for the purpose keeping CSers updated about HUG. We can also have healthy and clean discussion about the group actives in this forum.

On 4th Nov we are going to do our first studio shoot. There will be a model provided as usual members will get to try the H3D. CSers coming please PM me for details. As there might be limited space.

Was checking with Denis about some Hassy accesories and he told me they were considering putting up a small Boutique sale of sorts during the gathering of 4th Nov.
They had some excess filters , hoods and stuff to offer the members . Also some Tamrac bags , Gitzos and Linhof . Some of us could shop whilst others could do the model shoot . Should be fun ! Singscott please confirm for us and post pics of the model you are arranging !

Hi guys I was away in vietnam for a few days. I am back in singapore. Yes Dennis did mention he offering some "bargains" for members. But I remember nothing about model sale ha ha ha There will a model shoot. People that are coming but have not pm me please do so, unless you are a member already then you do not need to do so.

Thanks for the organization of the shoot. Met some friendly photo buffs and certainly learned a lot. It was a most generous event by shiriro. Denis was indeed very hospitable. Unfortunately , we did not meet you- so once again, a big thanks.

I am just happy you guys enjoy the event. I was mean to come and use my trusted 553 ELX camera. But a shoot which were to end at 5pm ended at 8pm. So I did not have the pleasure to meet my fellow HUGers:cry: So who bought my Gitzo tripod:sticktong Ha ha ha
