Yaz man , lets all go and support Skye this weekend at the Nokia Black box !

Was travelling to do a shoot just after the HUG. If there is interest, I will write a short article on the focus stacking technique on my blog and link here. Let me know.

Anyone interested in Photography can join in .
We share what we know , irregardless of film or digital .
If you love the Hasselblad , better still .
Shriro funds the whole show .

Some people requested me to share the technique on landscape stitching, which I also showed during my talk. I had covered this earlier in a blog post I did...

Click here for the landscape, multipanel stitching post.

Hey Pchong , It was a great Talk !
And must have taken you some time to master this artform .
Yet you were willing to share .
It has been very rewarding coming for the gatherings.
Always have unselfish people coming to contribute .
And we dont pay a cent .
Thank also the guys at Shriro .
I think we dont get enough good service outside that we dont know how to react when kudos should be given.

BTW, an invitation for all of you who are interested...my book is now published and available. I am doing an exhibition of 7 prints from the book, and the watches which were photographed (more than S$1M value) at L'Atelier by The Hour Glass at Orchard Ion.

The on-topic piece is that all photographs exhibited (and almost all the 201 photographs in the book) are photographed with my trusty Hasselblad H3D-39.

Hi I just got a secondhand 500c and am wondering how much is a digital back specifically the CFV/503CWD? Can someone give an estimate? Is there anyone selling secondhand?

A new CFV 39 was $ 22k a couple of months ago .
Then again a new H4D31 body was $16k and H4D40 body - $ 24k .
New for new , looks like forget the 500 and get the new integrated AF cameras.
If second hand it could be cheap but depending on age , working state .
It may miss some shots due to the half depressed shutter syndrome .
Just my 2 cents worth . . .

Thanks for the advice...I think based on the numbers it does make sense to forget the 500 and consider the H4D31 or 40.
