has anyone tried to import in Diafine from online retailers?

Mix your own diafine, you can get the chemical locally.

Anyone tried the home brew? All pretty common materials that u can easily get.

You guys make it sounds easy to get the chemical locally. It took me few months just to find washing soda for my caffenol :hammer:

There are local lab supplier for places like education institution that sells chemical. The issue is the min volume that they are willing to sell.

can they sell those chemicals to common people? I doubt it

I shipped mine over from the states. So far no issue. Most photographic suppliers hold stock for the common developer ingredients 😁.

Guys I have to clarify. I get all my chemicals shipped in from the states... So far the stuff have not gotten hijacked by customs before but I limit myself to powder based chemicals... it's fun mixing your own stuff and satisfying when u get it right!

how on earth did my simple question of where to get diafine and who uses it degenerated into this?

there are hobbyists who dun give two hoots about the nuts and bolts, the ins-and-outs of photography, so long as an image appears. there are others who are concerned with the minutest minutiae. regardless, it is rude to diss people just because they don't share your philosophy of developing film.

imo, if we are so caught up in 'doing the right thing'...where's the fun in photography?

why so serious..... sigh.... whatever rocks your boat, just have fun to your own beat. just dun beat others into following your own beat.
