Dun be fooled by the quoted price for Gitzo tripod. You will be surprised by how much discount they will dropped for you after the initial price. After listening to those nice nice words, head over to TK Foto at Funan Center at Level 2 and check the price again.

Agree. They quote me $28 for a normal hoya UV filter. I can buy it at 22 elsewhere

Compare to the filter, you should really experience the difference when attempting to acquire a Gitzo tripod. My exploration of Gitzo tripod awards me this entertaining show put up by CP.

Cathay photo is quite okay! If you r talking about service. Tk photo is always busy! Alan photo is totally ****up. Nb see you wear business wear, treat you as carrot. SLR accessories are quite cheap. Different shop gt their own style and service. Depends who you go with and whether you look like a carrot to them

I totally happy with it, no complains. I brought it to overseas all that.

i actually think that most shops will try their luck if they think that the customer is very clueless... its only a matter of extent.

the more decent ones will recommend u to buy additional accessories u might find useful, but won't overcharge on the items. they just try to sell u more stuff.

the "orh sim" ones will try to make u buy rubbish at inflated prices. they'll kotok u for all u're worth.

end of the day, have to do homework and stay focused. like it or not, shops have different ways of making a living.

main difference is the size of the ballhead and the total load it can take.

Unless u are referring to system tripod and normal ones, I dun think you really need to buy 2 tripods.... Get a CF one that you can use for normal and for travel.

According to the pricelist the price for T1004x+ G10 is suppose to be S$169 (inclusive of GST), you got it at $159, so where does the conning came from?
