My point is he has a right to disagree. He may have had a bad choice of words, but if everything needed justification then wouldn't everything be troublesome? For example, with everybody outside disagreeing with the Tans in the upcoming elections it doesn't seem like everybody is bothering to choose their words wisely and substantiating their claims right?


And then again, you did not ask for a justification - you challenged him instead. What are you hoping to achieve out of it then?

You indeed sound like a loser. I saw his replies in a few threads. Mostly stuffs like bad lighting, bad exposure. It looks like he knows what lighting/exposure is, then what's wrong with asking him to show us the "right" lighting/exposure? And seriously anyone with objective opinions wouldn't say the photos are bad.

please share your experience on this train ride to BKK... never took train to BKK before haha

I went on the Eastern & Oriental Express: Singapore - Bangkok trip on 20-22 Oct 2011. It was a 3D2N trip, with a bit of delay, so total around 56 hours.

A great experience of the journey is viewing the diverse landscape along the way (mountains, plains, fields, plantations, people's homes that are sometimes just right beside the railway tracks with no barriers), under different weather conditions (dusk, dawn, sunshine, rain, storm, flood etc). It's not unlike a rail journey through Europe. And the views are similar if you take a normal train that runs thru the same tracks.

It's just much more comfortable on a luxury train, with own personal toilets and shower facilities, 'room service'/butler, comfy beds, fine dining, bar car with live piano music at times, reading room with foot massage services, etc. and exceptional service from the crew.
There is also an open-air Observation Car where you can smell the air, feel the wind run thru your hair, get hit by leaves or splattered by rain, and wave to the people you see along the way. So many people smiled and waved back, children running out into the rain just to shout hello.
Altogether, an awesome experience.

I decided to travel really light, so had just a small waterproof compact camera.

Just saw the messages in Aug 2011. Anyone has the right to dislike any photos. It really doesn't bother me, but thanks very much for the many replies.
I'll just keep working on it anyways.

So far, the mag has not contacted me with regards to the photo spread though, so I'm not sure how far it will be into the future. Maybe it's just an 'opportunity'?
