Anyone up for Hari Raya shoot out on Friday?

Sat can head to Chinatown for Moon Cake Festival.

I was thinking shooting around the Malay Kumpong area then dinner at Joo Chiat, there very colorful at night :bsmilie: but would that be too crowded? I assume that place would be raped with crowds.

Heres some suggestions:
Sentosa - Can makan at Seah Inn before heading in, Tanjong beach pub!! :bsmilie:
Changi Village/Boardwalk - Charlie's Corner is good for brunch & drinks before starting shoot.
Jurong Fish Market - wake up si beh early & have to go in small groups
Horte Park + Tree Top Walk - sure sweat until t-shirt got sweat stains...
Singapore Zoo - $18 per entry. I think this is quite interesting for the whole group!
ECP - Plenty of makan & drinks, nice english breakfast at the irish pub
Changi Airport - The shelter of air con! heehee

For makan, I could suggest zhi char dinner? Or BBQ dinner? ;)

Hi Sir,
For you information, on Friday evening itself the 'kampong' area around Geylang Serai/Joo Chiat will definitely be lit up, but most probably it will be a 'dead town'. If you are anticipating a 'carnival' atmosphere, go down to Geylang Serai bazar light-up on the eve of Hari Raya on Thursday night. It will be jam-packed because of the last minute shopping and bargains. Hope this helps :)

i don't think geylang will be full of activities on hari raya. i think most families will be out visiting and geylang would probably be a ghost town.

if u want lots of life, u guys probably should go on the eve of hari raya. that's when all the prices are knocked down so u can expect quite a crowd.

on hari-raya it's going to be empty at geylang serai, eve raya (thurs) going to be crowded, last minute shopping , bargaining ...etc...etc..etc...

You guys go ahead and plan. :)
Will head to Kallang stadium to shoot some 4x5 in the morning..

,,,

actually shooting ard the stadium area seems like a good plan..
especially would love to get some shots of the grand old dame, the kallang stadium, before it's fully torn down..
think demolition work has already started.. hopefully it's not too late..

can proceed to brewerkz after when weather gets too hot too..:bsmilie:

You guys can head down to Supreme count & City Hall too.
Just read the papers about the open house. Not too sure can take pictures inside or not?

Kallang Stadium might not have much people around.
Just one to shoot some 4x5.
