Hanoi, Vietnam, Winter of 2010

ZoomP, you got to understand.... he's young, not married and single. You expect him to hang out with married old fatts like us all the time?

You got to give him a break... let him have some fun with young girls first before his hair turn bald like us.... when it's too late.... :bsmilie:

Who's the old fatts and who's balding??? :-)

Gary know i only joking lah. Good bro. :-)

hahahahaha!

Of course I know you are joking!

But Dave, you are the only one I see before after shoot go buy milk powder! :bsmilie: heehee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Different meimei la, must have some variety in life before kena tied la bro. Its like buying a car, you gotta take them all out for the test drive before deciding on which to put the deposit down! hahaha!

+1 for what gary said...some women are built for speed and some are built for comfort....pick wisely, young padawan....:bsmilie:

Yep Thomas! Would go wild there! A lot of meimei for you to shoot! I must say, they were quite hot but I didn't managed to shoot any, too shy  So I only took old people! haha!

btw Thomas, I really have to blame you for something man! I seriously got big chrome fever after getting your M2 with brown leather, damn stress now! hahaha!

The next wedding inline from our RF.SG member will be Dovevadar...we are so looking forward to yours...:bsmilie:

enough OT... how to fly kites, which milk powder brand is the best, optimal amount of variety... before kena tied, speed, comfort, test drives...

let's get back to RWC and his RF in hanoi.

They are nice pics. But after having shot some Afga color, I am beginning to see why color film is rather unforgiving compared to B&W.

For me, I just can't see to visualise color shots anymore after shooting B&W so frequently!

These are E6 slides, they are very unforgiving if you get the exposure a tat bit wrong.

The previous B&W were all taken in the day. All Tri-X 400 on M2 with Canon 35mm F2 LTM.

These few next are Tri-X 400 pushed to asa1600 on Hexar RF with Canon 50mm F1.4 LTM & they are night shots of Hanoi.

Yeah, the exposure is the issue.

I'm actualy ok with color, because I still use digital for some things. But screw up the exposure by even one stop, and things can go to hell.

I must say, the Hexar RF is a super shooter at night! Just set the Canon 50mm F1.4 LTM wide open at F1.4, let the camera meter & handle the shutter & winding of film, really sweet & smooth for night shoots.

Dont think I will be selling it so soon. Seems like its became my permanent night shooting camera with always Tri-X 400 rated at 1600 loaded in it!

His heart too open liow, all flying around. Now dont know where is the original piece.:bsmilie:

These are a great set, amazing consistency. Love the composition and the contrast you're getting.

I'd be pretty proud if this was my work...I am off to Hong Kong next week so will grab an evening or two to shoot some film...

Week 1 of Bessa R3M ownership :)

Cheers for the new year

Sean
