Hague MMC, Flycam Nano, Balvanz, Lensse?

Im looking for a stabliser for my Olympus E-PL1 and after quite a bit of googling I've 'narrowed' down to these 5.

1. Hague MMC (UK)
2. Flycam Nano (India)
3. Balvanz Mini DV stabliser (USA)
4. Lensse MidX Steady Cam (Turkey)
5. Indiehardware Stablizer (USA)

Any comments on which would be better suited to the E-PL1? They are all gimbal based and about the same price range (approx US$150) with perhaps the Hague/Indiehardware being slightly cheaper. Also I like the elegant look of the 'curved' Hague/Lensse/Indiehardware better than the utilitarian Flycam or Balvanz. But these are not important as far as performance goes. Any particualry difficult to pan with?

(Other stablisers I considered are Wondlan Pegasus II/Sturdycam/Minicam but too expen$ive)

i think the hague mmc should be good for its price for your olympus since its really light. but at the end of the day its more of technique as well. :)

Hi...

Where to check out the models? I am also looking for some stabiliser for camcorder and 60D with EFS 17-55 F2.8.

I recommend going to THIS site for reviews on a variety of stablisers. You can get a lot more info on other things besides like sliders, dollys LED lights and all manner of accessories related to video.

So have you make up your mind on which to get? It seems like Hague MMC (UK) and Flycam Nano (India) are good but the Flycam will be able to hold more weight...

Yes, after weighing in the options, I'm going to order the Hague tomorrow. I will be in london for 3 days and need to time it so it arrives at the hotel when I do :) The reason Im getting it instead of the flycam nano is because the Hague is more elegant looking as i said plus it can still hold the weight of a DSLR if/when I upgrade to a Canon 5Dmk3! Plus I'll be in london anyway so I dont have to wait long for shipping.

Wooo...Canon 5D MK3 sounds delicious.....but I just got a feedback from a videographer that the Hague is good to hold up to the weight of a combo Canon 60D + EFS 17-55 F2.8. Anyway I bought over his Hague so I shall give it a try....

I think the Hague MMC is just good up to 60D with a lightweight lens. My 60D + EFS 17-55 F2.8 is totally out of balance unless we add more weights but it is very heavy to grip the such setup.

where can u get the hague in singapore?
thx

I've used a variety for stabilizers. IMO, if you are flying for the first time & intend to fly your 5DIII with L lens eventually. I personally think its a good start with Blackbird cause it allow weights from camcorders to 4-5kg pro cams (if your hands are strong enough).

Its lighter than alot of stabilizers (aka glidecam) and very easy for beginners to balance.

Flycam nanos type are not really good with heavier cameras.

Sir, where i can buy flycam nano?
