Press Menu/Set, then go to the SETUP menu, then to Version Disp.

The orig I bought for my gh2 cost $102. So it's about there..

That's fairly typical, at least from my experience with the GF-1 battery.

Yes, I paid about this when I got it for my GF2.

Yesterday I just got 2 from Amazon at less then USD48 each! My friend bring it in for me...Dun understand why so ex. in singapore.

Just a FYI for those also backside itchy, you cannot ship batteries direct via USPS or via forwarders like Borderlinx and Comgateway. If you really wanna send batteries out from America, please use Adorama or BHPhoto direct shipping. Or look for a shop that will ship out of Hong Kong. Many 3rd party batteries are not decoded, so you will not get a battery indicator or sleep mode working on your GX1.

Just sayin'. 'cause I have seen people try to order batteries only to get them rejected at the customs. Better safe than sorry, even though it's a gamble.

comparing side by side with GX1

Gfx1 looks nicer. Wats the difference? Is gfx1 more advanced? Anyway the lens on the gfx1 looks more interesting than all other zoom lens - non collapsible, 2.8-3.5, leica 14-50 zoom!!!

I believe the issue raised in the forum was about reportedly getting soft images when used with shutter speeds between 1/100 to 1/300. It has also been reported that it happens even with OIS switched off. I doubt the recent firmware released for the lens was meant to address this issue. Its likely a bad batch as i dont think every 14-42 X lens is affected by this issue. Mine wasnt. U can simply test your lens to see if u've got one from a bad batch.
