$615 with gst? whoa. that's a good deal. I just got my f11 with a 512 xD card. din want to get the 1gb at the end..
just tested out the photos indoors at night and the iso800 1600 shots are amazing!

btw, what happened to the xD card that's supposed to be included in the box? how come everyone's missing it?
According to CP salesperson, they don't pack the 16Mb xD card in the box anymore, but Fujifilm forgot to delete it from the printing on the box.

He said we can call Fujifilm to clarify if we have any problems :)

Personally, I didn't bother to call. Did anyone call? Did Fuji send u a 16Mb xD card?

Let us know the shop if they served you good, so we can list which shop gives professional customer service :)

I managed to get it exchanged at AP.

The salesperson who served me previously, was quite helpful even though he was attending to a customer then, and checked with me whenever he's not occupied by that customer. I brought my laptop along to show the white pixel showing up at the same spot.

Later, he got another salesperson to attend to me. I could feel a little of resistance when he tried to explain to me about the white pixel being a technical problem, and that I should go to Fuji instead. I'm not sure, but perhaps I didn't make my point clear initially, that I was looking for an exchange.

After letting him know, he agreed to exchange a new one for me, provided no scratches on the LCD. I'm glad there wasn't much problem, though service could have been better if he agreed immediately upon seeing the white pixel. The two salesperson were helpful throughout though.

I have a strong interest in F11 too, for the ISO 800 performance.

May I know where you get these quotes from?

I took the SGD 699 from MS Color. Becareful with OEM battery, I had 2 bad experience with OEM battery, with so called 'Cell Made in Japan'.

So I prefer original Fuji battery, SGD 75.-, the lowest I found at John 3:16. Haven't bought yet, waiting for any info if there is good OEM battery for F11.

Haven't pay 1st of course ;p But the salesperson ask me to call on weekend before i go.

Anyway i also did ask the price of 1GB + F11 at Bally Photo. The price given is $685. Of course the original finepix leather pouch was given. Some shops like to term it as a "free" gift when it was given by Finepix for your info.

512mb + F11 = $615 suit my budget more. Cheapsake i know .. ;)

Don't say so. Everyone has different needs and budget. I also opted the 512MB for the same reason.

Just too bad I paid $15 more than you, but I get to play with it a few days earlier than you do.

so spinex, you are goin to call them first? I might drop by on Monday.. haha if you're cheapskate so am i ba..teehee
Hmm. what are OEM batteries? 3rd party batt?? Imitation goods?! is it advisable to get a spare batt along with your purchase of the cammie?

#1 and #2 are standard, the rest are chrome.

camera setting permanently set to chrome and -2/3 ev.

other than purple fringing for pictures with contrasty subjects like #4, for me, the direct output from this little cam do not really need any post-processing.

its a great little cam to bring with you everyday, no more missing the photo moment.

if the next F12 has 28mm, full manual mode, I will be buying fuji again.

what's chrome setting for? sorry, silly question :dunno:
Also, where is a good place to buy a 1GB std xD card? Any1 know how much it costs?

btw, what settings are you guys using for your std shots? As a noob, I'm only using AUTO :embrass:

Actually, getting the 1 GB might be a better idea. The video mode is quite good and a 1 GB card allows you to record around 30 mins of video (320x240, 30fps).

just got the f11 for my colleague today at tk foto. finally was able to see it for myself, and it sure is a good cam. Good service and great price..esp if you dont need some of the freebies in the bundle sale by ms colour.

Buy Package A if you are totally new to digital photography and haven't got the card reader,
need extra battery (going for holiday?), etc.

Otherwise, Package B is better cuz then you can spend the extra $50 on something you really need.

Just my opinion.

Oops...wrong question.
