just got an equote from MSColor. It is selling at $599(w/gst) and comes with a 256 card and a leather case. Would like to check with those who got the leather case is it those big big type or body-hugging type?

Me trying to get the case to be as small as possible.

The case is body-hugging - it fits just nicely. Even with the case, I can fit it into my pocket.

It is fitted type, no cushion, like a skin to the camera, the smallest you can get I would say

Quality of picture is good. :thumbsup:

Maybe the fastest in it's class I have a few compacts, like iXus i, S1-IS, my father has iXus 700, well F11 beats them all in term of speed and noise :thumbsup:

it gives off some weird noise lei. So is mine cam faulty?

Anyone thinking of extending this cam's warranty? Extended warranty cost $75/- for two
more years of peace of mind.

Right, the mechanism is a bit noisy, everybody said that. So, i guess it is normal with yours. What I mean was picture noise not mechanism noise.

Good question! I haven't found it, and I need it too! I guess cannot be adjusted And the flash often overexposed for close distance. Let me know if you guys know how to do it

Seem like extension is a good choice if you wish to use it for long term. If you wish to resell it, i doubt it will be much value as you know Digicamera technology move too fast (same as the price).

I also thinking to buy F11. Just want the F11 + 1GB xdcard + leather casing (maybe). Will dropby Funan area to check out best package for the things i want.

Bally Photo at 5th floor (or 4th floor ??) at Funan which is the same level and row of shops as Alan Photo at Funan always offer attractive price without even bargaining. Even better than Cathay Photo. I should say $10-30 cheaper generally not those ridiculously cheap price.

My one and only experience with Alan Photo at SimLim is bad and some of their salesperson not really professional so i would avoid it myself.

By the way i'm not related to any of the shops above. Just from my personal experience.

The F11 only has exposure compensation - there is no seperate adjustment of flash output.

Many ppl mentioned that they buy it for $10 for their F10. Since casing of F10 and F11 is same. I suppose same case and same price ?

Hi fatjp,

Official spec is 1.3 second start-up and 0.01 second shutter lag. In actual use I'm constantly amazed by how fast the camera starts up - once I pressed the power button the camera was ready before I knew it, and this include extending the lens out!
