Nothing better to do than to take a group shot with a P&S of (mainly) Dr "Leica"'s collection . It would have been with one more except that the M-Hexanon 50mm f2 had gone to another doctor buyer a few hours earlier:

The total value of all the lenses would cost more than a 6 carat diamond.

how come zm not represented?!! :bsmilie:

Actually many people in Sing have much more than this.
But they do not show pictures of what they have on photo-related forums.
Guess they matured in Leica-ship and grew out of the immaturity to "show".

Yes, lucky never take group shot of 35mm lenses :bsmilie:.

The background to this was that we needed to see whether the coatings have changed since the last iteration of the Noctilux and the latest incarnation. We can confirm that it is exactly the same.

BTW, the CV Heliar is very nice, solid construction .

You must be very very scared of fungus then.. o_O

Haha, I can only dream of even owning one of the lenses there, though my dream lens isn't on the list. It's a Zeiss Sonner 50mm f/1.5.

tempting.... But I've already got the planar....hmm....

Eh... No planar among the 50s?

I heard the planar is sharper wide open then the sonnar, but the sonnar has the advantage of a wider aperture.

Anyhow, I don't have enough money for a sonnar now, so I guess I have to pass till I get my first job.

wow!!! ok, I will not be greedy.
I want one of the two, the Summilux or the Nokton, amongst those. :)

The Nokton is not represented here, but considered one of four lenses Erwin Puts considers legends in their own right.

hmm... I thought the bottom left one was the Nokton 1.5 seeing the Voigtlander cap. It's the Heliar ?

Heliar Classic f2. Very solidly built!

From a previous family portrait of 50mm lenses (M-Hexanon is bottom right). Gone to a good home.
