These were shot on a 7-14mm as well? Wow...

Oh yes !
I like this one. How close did you have to be to take this at 9mm focal length?

I believe I was about 30-40cm away from the subject. You have to watch the corners really carefully when shooting. What I usually do is to do a quick check at each corner before I fire the shutter. This is a habit that has stuck with me for many, many years now when I got my first ever 100% VF camera, the Nikon F3.

When using flash, I have the wide angle unit put over the FL-50, followed by the Stofen (goes wider) and then the Lightsphere PJ II. Of course, the power will be more limited.

I did not use any lens correction in any of the workflow. When I'm free, maybe start I'll relook at it.

Thanks for the tips. I forgot all about the wide angle panel. I'll give that a try to see if it works. I may have to get a FL-50 though as I have a FL-36 at the moment which might not be powerful enough after so many layers of diffusion

With your magnificent glass and cam, you really need the FL-50. :bsmilie:

BUY BUY BUY!!!

Hi Tomcat,

Glad to see that you're going beyond the realm of the 11-22 to the ultra-wide. Looking forward to landscapes that rival your JiuZhaiGou pictures.

Thanks for sharing.

Going to Jiangnan/Huangshan later this month :D So we'll see if this lens is any good compared to the 11-22mm ;)
