nope, dun have the casing yet. i am currently using oly c5060 for uw. just want to get something small for "small trips" like local diving.. thought that canon or fujifilm should be not bad, so came in here to see see look look :)

its quite simple to achieve manual mode actually (other than bulb la)... simple use aperture or shutter mode, and use EV compensation to control the shutter value(in a mode) or aperture value(in s mode). :bsmilie:

brought the F31 last DEC at MS color at $600. Never use the face detection yet. When you shoot in Face detection, F31 controls everything.

going to give away the F31 as a gift. Thought of getting the F30 for myself, not sure what is the price package at MS color now? :)

I checked with them when I bought my F31fd last Sat. MS no more stock for F30. Anyway, FD is useful for tour when you get people to snap for you and if you use the self-timer for group photo.

is that true??? This is a crazy price! forget about the cheapo casing, not worth fretting over. Get it, man, i am going to inform my colleague. Still got stock?

Just called Ms color they quote me $240 for the f31 ad f30 u/w casing and they still have stock for it

You are right, its not the best price. J316 compete on service rather than price as they are a small shop. Their guys rock in terms of service and friendliness!

I am just posting whatever price I know here for information.

Hey, given that the casing has no electronic parts maybe a few of us can combine to "timeshare" the casing...any interest?

Unlike u/w casing for the DSLR which has electronic parts, the risk of abuse is only physical damage to the casing or the o-ring. If somebody flood the casing, only his own camera kaput but the casing is fine (after rinsing and drying it up).

However if somebody decides to sit on the casing or use it as a hammer then surely kaput. So I am proposing a group of 3 people willing to share the casing, each paying ~$100 to take part. I can draft out an ownership agreement, etc, and we can then decide how to run this. How?
 

Anyone knows of any promotion or what is the best deal for F30 now that the F31 is selling well?
 

my advice is that you should go for F31 because F30 have stop production. And with MS having sure good offer for F31. Or you want you can try funna centre South Asia Computer at lvl 3 they may still have F30 in stock. i think the price is below $500 if they still have stock.
 

Another of my friend just got the F31 set with 2x1GB, 1xOEM Batt, cleaning kit, cam case, screen protector from AP for $539 (incl GST) after my recommendation. :D :D
