My apologies for coming in late as I just got back from a month trip to Iceland. Thanks very much for the kind words and ed9119 for featuring it. :)

WOW !!

I am at a lost as to how you do the timelapse ?

How on earth did you move your tripod to do the panning ? Some was rotating the sky almost 360 degrees !

Do you think you can teach me ?

Thanks

Hi Ryan,

Thanks very much for the kind words. The link that xjosephtbr has posted is a great start and is in fact very much how a hyperlapse is done. I am however very anal about the buildings or lines getting distorted OR jumping around during the hyperlapse itself. I believe in getting it spot on in the camera so a monopod is IMHO not the way to go. A tripod is way more accurate plus the need for long exposures throws the usage of a monopod out of the window.
