it is often said that we do not know what we have till we lose it. today i wanted to print 40 copies of a photo 4R size. i didnt need top notch quality and the photo was for mass distribution so i decided not to make the trip down to simon's. i instead went to a blue photo shop near where i live because they offer 4R printing for $0.25 compared to $0.30 for fuji.
the service i got there was abysmal. the salesperson was unfriendly and demanding. outside the shop, a sign read: 4R for $0.20 cents only. when i told her: "i thought your sign shows that 4R is only $0.20?" the sales person replied rudely: "that is for 100 prints and above only."
i was quite cheesed off by that. the next thing that irked me was that the salesperson demanded payment before i collected the photos. i had to pay on the spot. the salesperson also tried to 'ask' me in a not so nice manner to collect the photos in one hour's time before they close shop.
i was treated badly, and regretted it completely that i went there. it was only after i left the shop that i remember Fuji now has this cheaper CLASSIC paper that has a lower price. i have always been to simon's and have never been let down by the service. when my prints were faulty, there were no questions asked, simon replaced it immediately for me FOC. i doubt i would have gotten the same service there at the blue shop.

The large format prints are simply awesome !!! The clarity of the print is really good and the color rendition is accurate. Most importantly, the prices for Clubsnap members are really reasonable. If only I had enough room, I'll develop all my fav photos into A3 size:bsmilie:
