Hmm, I had lunch @ a Chinese takeaway there that was owned by a Malaysian. I went there to visit IWC
. There was also this fantastic restaurant in downtown Zurich (near the lake/opera house) that serves Thai as well. Is that still there? It was always packed @ nights.Erm.... own by a Malaysian? is it a Vietnamese? coz in my restaurant we speak cantonese alot. DOnt know y but Asian (Chinese) in Swiss mostly can speak Canto, weird but true haha
In Schaffhausen there are like only 3 asian restaurants n two is own by my colleague n boss who are Vietnamese and Hong Konger.
In Zurich near lake? that im not very sure, coz in Zurich there are like tons of asian restaurants, maybe Mister Wong, Suan Long .....etc.

Is it a vegeterian cafe? After learning that i was from singapore, the chef and I chatted off in cantonese. :bsmilie: (although i'm not cantonese)
quite simple, the first chinese to come to swiss are from Hong Kong and Honkies speak.... cantonese. this is also the reason why swiss and europeans for that matter have a distorted view of what chinese is. Mandarin for example will not sound "chinese" in the ears of a swiss, it is basically chinese = cantonese/hong kong

The yellow flowers are all Sunflowers... one field of sunflowers, amazing! Swiss is really beautiful in Summer. (or maybe all seasons LOL)
the clock tower in Bern is called Zytglogge (time bell in bernese) and the inscription on the Bundeshaus (Federal Palace where Parliament is housed) reads Curia Confoederationis Helveticae, Relveticae. This is latin name for Bundeshaus / Federal Palace Curia = court (as in royal court not court of law), Confoederationis = Federation, Helveticae = Swiss (Helvetia Latin for Switzerland).
