nope, didn't use a tripod, shutter speed for night scenary mode is really fast so no need to use a tripod.

last picture is taken at al dente @ esplanade =)

it's very clear ... if i use without tripod .. i guess it'll turn out blurry...

i used night scenary mode, without other settings and without flash, night scenery mode automatically disables the flash option.

however, if i take pictures with night portrait with flash, sometimes it turns out blurry.

btw, how did you take these two pictures? what settings to use? i'm really bad with the macro mode.

actually i got this by accident too
I use the macro using normal picture mode or somethng...
then change the AF to ... the last one .. a tiny box inside a big box... <--- u get what i mean?
Shall try to see if i can get such effect again n let u know

* just tried it ... using Self Potrait or Food Mode
You need to change the setting and under the AF mode, choose the smallest box one...
When you take photo, there will be a tiny box, aim that box on object u wanna focus on, you should get the result.. *

not sure how long the battery can last but i've used it for about 200 photos now and it's still full... i don't use much flash and always turn off after use....
got my cam from Alan Photo... forgotten the price too.. i tink about $438...with $40 taka voucher <-- which makes me wanna get this cam and other freebies too ... still very satisfied with my fx38...

Thanks dude. Manage to get it working after checking with Best Denki folks. One thing I notice when doing motion mode, it does not zoom.
