;(  ;(
AH!!!!!! my first exp with AP sales man is such a dissapointment.. he cheated me a normal Sanyo 9hrs charger for $25 by telling me it's a smart charger.. After reading the specifications on the bos, i feel that the charger is a time based charger n i told him that i dun think it's a smart charger.. but he reply:" It is lah. We know one....." at that time i need a charger badly bcos i'm just boguht a A40 n need the batts to start... Can i return the charger for a new smart charger even if there is a need to top up some cash????

go back and change loh. say they made a mistake and pass you a wrong one. I ever exchange things before. but do it quick.

also look for Steven.

I would return it if I were you. Make sure (if there is a need for top up) that you are paying the market rate of this smart charger (so as not to get conned again).

Be more alert the next time to get something from AP. The staff there are not exactly honest salesmen... ;(

How does this Steven look like?

yah how does he look like i'll go there in the early afternoon...

oh yah... what is the price for the smart charger??

Well, if they refused to do so...

Make a scene, take some shots, make big fuss, remind them that you'll post to forums, esp on that sales man who cheated you, get his name card!!

Er... and see if you can get extra batteries for your lost... :p

any of u guys know how steven looks like?

yah i wanna know too, next time can post pic? ... everytime go dunno which one.
btw wats the name of the pak jiao guy?

is it the 40+ guy with the sharp face and hook nose?

Mystix: if i am not wrong he is kenny

ic...he's not very honest also...tried to overquote me when i bought my canon 50mm 1.8 but decided to lower down when i told him CP's quote

Try n look for H.K. Tan.
Short crop hair, quite tall.

Lesson learnt, friends. NEVER shop at SLS unless you're dead sure of the price.

It's not only a matter of money. It's the anguish and disappointment that's unleashed on you, when you realise you've placed trust on the salesman yet reciprocated with utter dishonesty, that makes you cringe.

Personally I'd rather spend more at CP than to risk getting heart burn at AP.

I do agree, CP and Fotoguide may not have the cheapest price tag in the market, but they won't grossly over charge an item for a newbie in their shop. You won't get the best price, but their quote is usually not too far from it.

kenguang,

I think it is better if u go there to exchange for items that u know the price; he could exchange another lousy charger for you but over quote at $100. In these case, you are worst off.

I suggest u exchange for batteries, bags, CF or something you know the actual price. Then, go somewhere else to get your charger, its pointless to get from AP. It's a pity you did not get the Maha MH-C204F from Barrios. Do check out the Rayovac charger at www.w3cube.com or the Sony charger at Mustafa. See if it meets your need and budget.

the olympus charger is ard 60-70... quite good also...

they have this power haus charger.

100 minutes

I got the 2.5 hour charges... for $48 from else where....

I hope you can use this as a price guide for their 100 minute charger if you want to change to that.

is this an intelligent charger or timer-based?
