Shouldn't it be unexposed but processed slide film? Exposed and processed slides are transparent.

For product photography... If the product is not so meant for commerical value, ie you're not paid to do it, why spent so much???

I've taken good shoots on antiques using 2 cheap slave Morris flash mounted on a modified tripods. but of cos, required a light meter to measure before the shoot can commence.

As the morris flash cannot adjust power like a studio flash, simply use adjust using distance placement of the 2 flash or putting tracing paper covering the flash front to cut down the power.

Set full manual on the camera based on the reading from the light meter as if you're in a studio. For backdrop, I uses a Black Royal Velvet Cloth bought in Chinatown...

Morris Slave only cost $60 each and the mount, $20 and a cheapskate tripod abt $25 each.

Cheap Implementation...

so which is cheaper? The SU-4 or the Sb30?

I was looking at the SU-4 specs.. it did not say anything abt supporting the Sb80, so I'm abit skeptical.

BTW, can the built-in flash of teh D100 trigger the Sb80 remotely?

Please help... This function of the combi I cannot figure out!
Yes... the internal flash of the D100 can trigger the SB80dx... I use it frequently to light up the background/environment, and use the internal flash for the subject.
