thats 2 bucks for dev. wow.

I think it a "package" price. If without scanning, might be different

too bad, scanning isn't $4 anymore, may consider other place..ha.

this is a bloody joke! i sent in a few rolls recently to dev and scan, and I came back and checked, turned out with 2 strips of negs of the total NOT SCANNED. I am not going back. Inconsistent service and unprofessional handling. What is wrong with these people?

its Kex from now onwards. I am so disappointed.

did you get a good scan result? Mine was not good at all. So disappointed.

By good I would define as minimal dust, and NO SCRATCHES. ah DUH.

my incident as above had good scan quality i.e not dusty, but this is, as i mentioned, inconsistent with their past 100% no-problem service.

talk about pride of doing what you do.

I have mine develop and scan. It is $8.
But I find out that the 16base scan is much more noise as compare to 4base scan. Frankly, I yet to find one 16base scan lab that does not give noisy result.
It also means that we need to use Noise Reduction software to do post processing.

Can someone recommend a lab that provide 16base scan that is not so much noise?

I not very sure about that, it depend what kind of film you use i think. My slides are not grainy, those normal ISO 400 film that i have been using are quite grainy where it view from my laptop but it ok when it printed out at 10x15 inches.

They scanned the neg by it default setting.
