Anyway, sent my old negs for archiving today.

Sad to say dat my negs had degenerated seriously to the point if I blow it up to 100% in photoshop, its plain horrible. Kinda like bad newspaper prints. Fortunately, its still salvagable at 4R size.

Still, great service. But kinda ex. 4 rolls like $32 for index print & archiving. Phew....

Maube is it yr neg to old that he need to help u clean it? Yr photos cant print bigger than 4R or if bigger that that not nice?

oh! i always go to the photo stop to find (uncle) owen...

heh...

he's my mother's friend... have been going to him to develop my photos since i was a wee young lassie... more than 10 years now i think...

even now, when i take my own photos when i travel or even my graduation photos, i'll still go down to uncle owen and he'll help me to do the photos nicely and develop them.

They charges me $8 per for developing and scanning at 16base.

Hi all film snapper,

I would like to share with you a good place for processing + scanning of films. There is a Photo lap at LIANG court's supermarket (B-1 MEIDI-YA Supermearket)
It only $8 per roll for processing and scan it at 16 base hi-res jpeg (3360x2240).

There is guy name Owen who is very friendly and patient to help on my needs.

Hello..Just to confirm, since this is a 1 year old thread, is this price still the same? can confirm?

I have yet to scan my first negs..so when I want to get it scanned to CD-R, I just bring my 6/7 strips of negs to meidi-ya and like collect it the next day is it? how much is that?

and if I want to develop and scan to CD-R from a fresh roll, it will cost $8 right?

for this $8 rate, what does 16 base hi-res jpeg (3360x2240) signify?

Image resolution: 3360x2240 how many MPs equiv?

Haha, this thread is dead but I still do get my stuff scanned by them. Yes the prices are still the same. 135 film is different from 35mm. Usually you can get it back the next day. 4/16 base just refer to the resolution. I think its around 8-9mp.

Oh and they do process B/W film but they get an outside person to do it so it takes longer, forgot how much it was though.

hello, $8 for developing and scanning in 16 bits is a good price, is the thread starter still around? may I know how much for scanning in 16bits without developing?
