Anyone can recommend me a good loupe with minimal distortion without having to leave big hole in in the pocket? Please tell me what brand, where you buy it, and how much?
Currently I have
Hakuba $ 26 ---> Very Severe Pincussion Distortion
Hama $10 ----> Unusable - pincussion distortion too high makes me dizzy using it too long.

Eyeing KAISER but the price is too expensive............

Try the Peak 10x Loupe part no #1961. Excellent value for money.

Thanks mate!
I try to get information for it........

There's a Schneider 10x one. $300 odd I think. :)

ermm still not too sure of the different type of loupes. supposed that i'm looking at a normal sized slide with a 4x loupe...i see the image as a whole...so when if i use a 10x one...do i see only a certain part of the image enlarged even bigger or the loupe itself is bigger and allows u to see the whole image bigger? hope some1 understands what i'm trying to ask.. :D

Should be the former; I heard usually people who get those 6X and above loupes, use them to check for details...

CP is not importing PEAK rectangle 8x loupe anymore and they just sold all stock......;(

But there is one good deal Rodenstock 4x loupe and Slimline Kaiser light box 5000K selling in package for $190-195. Unfortunately I already own Hamsa slim light box :dunno:

Kaiser 8x loupe is $220 at MS Colour....can't afford it!
