nah...sometimes u feel that photos tt u take overseas are better coz its your first time there and u are offered a fresh perspective on things....

apart from that, i tink this theory is groundless

as earlier mentioned, I think theres a little truth in it..new place spurs you to want to make good photographs. but nevertheless its still the guy behind the lens and body and what he decides he wants to make out of a scene.

AFTER ALL travelling is ok
to look around.

:)

it is rumoured that KRW is goin to start a travel-photography group very soon.
is drtokina joining the group? KRW will be so proud to haf the slides master along in his group!

i heard from lots of travelling photographers that a good photgraphs Must be taken from a place far far away including....the saying sof travelling National Geopgraphy pals....

hm.........:o

You all are WRONG.

A good photo has a poor/malnourished/dying subject (esp. children).

.

There was a group of photographers left to a far far away country to take photos. Because the journey was long they sent back their films for processing.

10 days into the shooting trip, the home people receive a parcel of films and a note that said, "Our model had died of Malaria. So only landscape photos from now on".

20 days into the long journey, the home people received another parcel of films and a note that said, "We ran out of food."

30 days after the home people received no parcel except a note that said, "No one is left anymore. I ate them all".

Let that be a lesson to all. :)

If you can't take good photo in the place you are very familiar, go far away will help???

But i know,
a good photo is not determined by the on who shot it, but by the one who views it.

go farway to scenic places much easier to take beautiful fotos. :bsmilie:
the challenge is to shoot ur own backyard, the every same thing that we pass by and see everyday, and make it beautiful. :)
if u can do this, u can acheive beautiful photos everywhere u go.

go go go!!! KRW!!!! GO GO GO!!!!

A good photograph is one that is taken by a good photographer wherever the opportunity arises. It can be a snapshot taken 5 feet from the front door or an elaborate set built 5000 miles away just to shoot one image. Should there be a rule?
