I have to admire your level-headedness Seb-on-Photo.

Enjoy your D90 and we'd love to see photos from Romania :)

Mr Romania, Very happy for you, that you managed to get some refund back. What did you say to convince them for the refund?

Well, that aside, I'm glad you had fun in Singapore, take heaps of photos with your new camera, you'll be amazed how far photography can go!

Take care and have a safe trip home!! ;)

GG kena chopped like mad..bally lives up to their name!

i must say photography is a great stuff to do , althought when ur in college . you should take some time out for that .

till now i still thanking the reviews from clubsnappers which stopped me from buying my D90 from bally...
thanks alot!!

Cartman thank you very much for your response, even if it somehow stresses my mind with the clear fact that I got cheated. (Awww!) But thanks for letting me know the painful truth :) I just checked some battery prices on the net and I will keep checking... probably he tricked me with @ 100$ on this one and as your price guide says with @ 90$ on the UV filters.

NewbieInCS let me explain my situation :) I am new to the DSLR and to the whole photo world in fact :) In fact I did check your price guide - for the cameras. I only had in mind to buy the original kit, with the 18-105 lenses - so that's what I mainly looked for. At the shop on the other hand, the guy told me about extra battery and UV filters which I had no idea about unfortunately, so I did not check any price guides. Thanks for your response :)

What do you guys recommend me to do? Check prices on the net for everything and if I find out that I was cheated big time on any item - get back to the shop? Will they be willing to re-negotiate? Or pay-back? And whats the actual cost of the camera with the lenses I've got - 2190 fair price? :)

If you got your stuff from reputable ones, there is a bit of a chance that they will accommodate you, but those dodgy ones? I guess not...

So the best thing to do will be to read-up, and don't go by impulse. Mose of these "sellers" know how to spot their prey. We all know it is too late. Just charge this to experience... Lesson learned. It is never really a crime to ask first (for advice) before going out there... especially if you are spending that much.

Unfortunately, my guess is that they will not (and never!) re-negotiate with you. For risk of pissing yourself some more, suggest that you just don't go back, and best not to deal with them anymore...

Just go ahead and enjoy your new toy. Post some pictures for all of us to appreciate (and critique! hehehe).

There's so much to learn in the community so if you have the time (I know we all have, but most of us are just plain lazy to read. hahaa), just go ahead and read...
