That seller currently has several 'questionable' things for sale, based on the item and price. Just my 2 cents.

NO BIDS ! CONTACT ME FIRST IN MY PERSONAL EMAIL :

FOR THE "Buy It Now Price"

Actually that violate ebay rule.
It may have a chance to be valid, but if it's not by PAYPAL, I probably won't take chance on it.

He is selling a wrong description item also.

 for you, how are you going to guarantee that he will send the good to you, and that your money will be safe if anything turn wrong

Normally on eBay, if the price is too good to be true.. I will ask if I can pick up... if the seller gives excuses, then just stay away...

Hart

Hart,
Thanks for the suggestion.. I have a friend in UK.. I'm making the arrangement for him to pick up the lens.. ;)

If the price is too good to be true, then it is more likely to be a scam

Be *very( careful of this "seller"!

There are numerous high value items on ebay with identical 'no bids' panel and with the same aol email address. They are under various different ebay identities. There are also many high value items on ebay with an identical 'no bids' panel but with other hotmail or yahoo email addresses ... all using various ebay identities, often with the exact same selling price quoted in the panel, often also with the item located in London, but the seller based in the USA (!!!). Often these listings disappear as they are reported, but ebay seem to have no policing themselves. These items *might* be ok, but they are probably scams, probably using stolen identities.

I have seen fraudulent ebay listings which have been there to steal unwary people's identities. They can ask you to click on a link for further details, and link can lead to what seems to be an ebay screen asking for your user name and password, unfortunately these webpages can be bogus ... the ones I have seen have had a internet domain in Slovakia!!!!! If you see such a screen check the actual web address on your browser. But if you fall for it, change your password immediately and/or report it to ebay.
