GOLDFISH

:thumbsup::thumbsup: Have you tried using digital to do shots like these? Are they achievable thru PP?

Good news! The last 4 shots I've posted are shot with a digital compact, ha! I've been shooting with film for years, particularly on tri-x pushed to 1600asa. But film prices are getting a lil ridiculous now and I just don't have the time for developing, at least for now. So through experience, i sorta understand how a shot will look like on film, from grain, vignette to contrast and I do my best to get the results. From physical darkroom to digital darkroom. But I'll switch to film once I've got the time. Hope I've answered your question!

Post processing is always a problem for me, I have no patience in front of the computer. Now just using some presets and tweak exposure and contrast a bit here and there.

Getting close really takes time (and some beers) but it could also be rewarding. Capa quoted, "If your pictures aren’t good enough, you’re not close enough." makes me wonder that it might not just be physically but also emotionally; towards the people and land.

So very true.

I personally find his quote to be one of the most commonly misunderstood one.

Great stuff from you as usual
