Going to Korea, any advice?

Going there from 15 Jul to 23 Jul on a sponsored trip. My job is to make observations during an international competition and probably have to produce a report after that.

Thinking of bringing my 300D and my laptop there. Anyone can recommend anything else I should bring for shooting?
