I used only AF. Not sure about other photographers there. I guess trying hard enough MF might be able to get some shots as well by prefocus at a fixed area (if it suitably exists such as when low tide). But overall I think AF gives a better chance as that PRP river is always dark when KFs are most active, and we don't use any fish baits so stop down or prefocusing is an issue.
66 First time saw little heron/striated heron fish in mouth flight shot, luckily didn't miss it. I think there was territorial dispute among Little Herons
78. GIF. Not sure what caused the fishes to jump out of water and let the WTKF scooped without getting wet. May be the approaching WTKF was enough to cause panic and jump?...some images are not sharp, added to complete the story
84 Left over fish by otters was picked up by Grey Heron in-flight, as a matter of fact, that Heron was waiting for it and mission abandoned once for another fish as too many otters were still around the fish.
