I thought the panny bodies will correct the CA in software?

Yes it will. Good for jpegs i guess. But for olympus and raw shooters, its an addiional step for pp.

I think many forums have also brought up the issue of CA, esp for this price point and Leica standard.

Sharpness is one thing. But i seen sample shots esp from slrgear that the new panleica 25mm has quite noticeable CA at wide opened and is still around even at F8. For 20mm, the CA is definitely better at wide opened and almost completely gone when stopped down a little.

Is the CA that much a deal breaker?

The lens is out. But i think due to very limited stock. Now oos. Maybe IT show may have some luck.
